DataShield, Nebraska’s fastest growing information security company, and Shred N Store, announce plans to merge as DataShield acquires the Kearney-based shredding company. As of July, 1, 2015, DataShield is servicing all Shred N Store accounts. Owners Bill Olson and his son Jon, chose DataShield due to the fact it’s nationally certified, locally owned and has a record of reliable service.
“It has been our pleasure to provide document destruction services to our customers,” said Bill Olson, Shred N Store owner. “However, after 14 years of service to central Nebraska, our family has decided to transition out of the business.”

DataShield is a Nebraska-owned business with locations in Kearney, Omaha and North Platte. It is certified through the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) and has an AAA rating. In addition to document shredding, DataShield provides hard drive destruction, electronic recycling and employee compliance tools and training. President and CEO Brian Gubbels says he looks forward to servicing additional customers in the Kearney-area.
